swaira: لوحة الأعماق. This was one of the last paintings my artist uncle completed before his death. (Taken with instagram) For a long time, I thought it was the last one he was working on before he died until dad told me that this was part of the times he went through when he painted only surrealistic paintings. I have one that he sent me and asked me to finish… I won’t! This painting is amazingly sad. I can almost hear him suffering looking at the feet, hands, shapes melting and drowning.. :(
