eatsleepdraw: This painting of a glacier is composed of only three colours; Coeruleum Blue, Prussian Blue and Titanium White. The foreground and background have been left deliberately less detailed in order to make the middleground stand out, providing a corridor for the eye. WOW! i’ve always wanted to try the blues instead of the blacks!  Oh, I just remembered: I HAVE ACTUALLY PAINTED ONCE WITHOUT USING THE BLACK! I wonder where that miserable painting is…
