I made a stamp today.
Mata? متى؟ (When? in Arabic.)
Carved on a very thin lino block which i didn’t find as comfortable and butter-like as when carving an eraser.
I made two awesome sketchbooks! So proud!
The cover you’re seeing is pink, but I also bought three different blues and one brown. I intend to experiment more on them.
Also, during tonight’s shopping I got a new speedball cutter, ink, roller, and lots of other stuff.. you’ve no idea how much i’ve spent.. haha!
The cool thing is: I might never have to buy sketchbooks.
The bad thing is: I have a runny nose, and I seem to have caught whatever virus Shosho has.. I don’t wanna be sick! :(
Today is Tomorrow is the stamp of the day.
I use a Speedball linoleum cutter. Mainly two blades, but sometimes i use the xacto blade for embossing. So far i’m using any eraser I can find around, but i’m planning to buy actual rubber blocks to work with, only they don’t sell them here so i have to order them from online. I won’t be making any more stamps for the day, I’ll draw instead. :)
A Stamp A Day!
How about that for a fun idea? I know it’s gonna cost a lot (lots of rubber erasers!) but I wanna try that for a couple of days. I really wanna try and make a wrapping paper by creating a pattern out of one or two stamps!
Giving engraving another go with a turtle stamp for Kevin! :P
I’m enjoying it a lot. I can’t wait to get my long-waited credit card on Tuesday or Wednesday to order some rubber blocks to play with!!
Kevin isn’t here right now, so I hung it on his jacket and it looked like a price tag!
I made another stamp!! :D Using Staedtler rasoplast eraser that has an ugly pattern which ruined my printed stamp. Also another problem occurred; I didn’t bring my stamping ink with me so I had to color the stamp with a prismacolor marker to see the result! Fun day!
Attendance System Apocalypse: Week 02
Good morning Tumblr!
It is 10AM of the first day of the week. A new day. I arrive early at the office, turn on my computer, and try to log into the Portal to check in. There’s an Error. I call IT immediately, they tell me to take a screen shot and email it to them. A few minutes afterwards, I receive an automated email of my last week’s attendance summary.
The Summary is supposed to show you in a days-of-the-week format, your Times In and Times Out. What does mine shows, nothing. The stupid thing didn’t acknowledge my presence throughout the whole week. What am i invisible?
On a much brighter note, I have started a new notebook, and turned it manually into a planner/notebook. It doesn’t look that decent right now, but I’m finding it a little comfortable to use. :)

Finally had the courage to do it. I hope they’ll be able to read the barcode.. Or else they’ll have to remove my protective charm. (Taken with instagram)

oh, i tried pouring some green acrylic down through that long tube and it fell down and formed a thin vien-like shape. Awesome!
