November is here!

10PM: November

I can’t believe it’s almost over, only a few hours left. I enjoyed November, I really have. During this lovely month:

  • Winter came
  • I saw the rain
  • I drew under the rain, and almost ruined my New Playground sketchbook
  • I prayed and played under the rain
  • Shosho started calling me Tom or Toom! (Kids tend to call me Atoma, Toma and now Tom! I think it’s short for Fatoom.. haha)
  • I won a personal painting challenge: To start 4 oil paintings in 2 months!
  • My brother came home safely
  • My whole family is safe
  • I bought Screenflow and Zbrush

I think I should end this boring list knowing it would go on forever.

Buuut, I also love December more! Tomorrow I start a 10 days challenge.

Wait I completely forgot to mention about today! TWO THINGS CAME IN THE MAIL TODAY:

My Qatar Airways Burgundy Privilege Club card. And..

Is lying on the couch on the 3rd floor at 3pm after reading/studying a little.. I think I’ll surrender and nap for a few! (Taken with instagram)

11PM

Dear November,

I like you. And I think you’re already way better than October. Even though you will be the busiest month before the Gala Dinner; I’m looking forward to all the projects (personal and ROTA ones.)

My life is good. It could be worse. It could be better. I won’t complain anymore. At least i’ll try not to.

  • Tomorrow is the last working day before the Eid break. Yeayy!
  • Garbage Truck doesn’t come at 11pm anymore. Not fair!
  • Also, tomorrow is my DEAD-LINE For the Eid Card. I decided to take it easy, oil paint, draw digitally, have pop corn with my niece and don’t give an F. ;D

Time for a 4th cup of tea!

I just got back from my meeting at the Innovation Centre. I saw The Stars of Science’ stage. I passed by Vodaphone and I saw the huge green areas on the roof, it’s amazing. The lady took me on the tour and she showed me where the storing of the cells is going to be for the Virgin Health Bank. Wow! I can already smell them stem cells and blood..!

Now, I’m more excited! Mayed, I can’t wait till this wednesday.

News: I’m home

1- I replaced my printer’s yellow cartridge at work only to find out that it does not work!

2- I’ll be getting my Mac pro (aka. THE BEAST) and tablet soon.

3- having second thoughts about the Virgin Health Bank project; time related I’m afraid :(

4- Mayed is napping for God knows how long.

5- the bathrooms at work have green-glass windows, and every time I’m in there I feel all happy for unknown reasons. Could it be color related?

6- Looking for Alaska is exceeding my expectations, I’m enjoying it more than An Abundance of Katherines!

7- Enjoy the following pictures of my lovely niece:

Three Levels of Awesomeness

I had a meeting with the Virgin Health Bank today concerning a project that is going to be launched very soon. It was at the Innovation Centre at QSTP, Qatar Science and Technology Park. The place was so empty it felt as if I were in a space station and robots were expected to show up. Oh, and Androids, I so would like to see some there. The QSTP is a US property meaning I was no longer in Qatar for 30ish min! Awesome, right?

After the meeting, I went with my siblings, Sara and Mayed to watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows. We got Seattle’s Best coffee and some popcorn and enjoyed the movie. During which there were some annoying 10ish Qataris, all girls and one boy; they were literally annoying, giggling and talking that I had to complain about them to the person in charge. I mean seriously, you want to giggle, stay home! You want to watch a movie, keep your rutten mouth shut! Simple as that…

I almost cried during some scenes. I’m just glad they’re keeping Snape’s death till the last part. I love Snape <3

I came home and I started checking my inbox, and guess what I found? Grace Jeanette has replied to the message I sent her last night asking if it’s possible that I use her singing in one of my videos and she said yes! I’m a big fan of this Art is The Weapon little star, her voice is really golden.

Now, I don’t know what to do…

Eid Preparation

Today is gonna be a busy day. Also, most of my family is fasting including me, so please don’t fill my Dash with tea posts and yummy food..!

My dash is never spammed with food, but when It was Ramadan, God it was torture! Tumblr-er’s were all against me posting pictures of my favorite food and drinks..! Please not today, not until 5ish pm.. and I’ll love you forever! :D

Eid is tomorrow. I will try to capture the essence of that morning by shooting a few pictures and hope to reflect on it the way I did few months ago for the small Eid!

Anyways, It’s 4AM. I need to sleep now.

Thank you all, and have a blessed day.

Last day of the Aeddad (اعداد) Program; I got my certificate today.

And tomorrow is my first official day at ROTA! :D

NEO at the RC-EC

New Employee Orientation at the Recreation Center at the Education City. I met a lot of nice people, specially one lady who actually works at QSTP, Qatar Science and Technology Park, which is a branch from the STP at Washington, I think! Ask me where my dream job is? Go ahead, and I’ll say doing research at QSTP!! They have NASA there! OMG!

Anyways, I also got a chance to chat with one of ROTA’s new employee’s, Paul. And I heard Rashid speak french fluently for the first time, Impressive!

I’ll take an hour nap, and then I need to get ready for Mayed’s last presentation at Bloomsbury. :D

And I’ll scan some sketches later..
