Fatma Loves to Draw!

A drawer in the virtual world, a graphic designer in "real life." In other words, being in the wrong place at the wrong time all the time.

She’s not the best character to start with my next phase of studying expressions but It’ll do for now. I’ll make her act for me a few more expressions, yeah?

That is it for tonight. I am dead sleepy; it’s been a loooong day!

I’m liking what I’ve done here, it’s giving me an internal boost to have confidence to start the project I’ve been dying to work on for a year now.

Mayed, I thank you for believing in me. I’ll try not to let you down. Now go to bed!

Good night, Tumblr

Back to my one layer study. This time I’m using Norman Rockwell’s No Swimming as a reference.

This is what I call Mind Over Matter

I spent some time with my niece a little while ago, and as usual this little angel inspired me to do some watercoloring. So, my goal was to draw a human figure, half inside the water, and half outside.. or at least something like that. The front part of the face is to be outside the water. I thought It wouldn’t be that hard, hypothetically, leaving that white around the face would make it work.

I was apparently mistaken. I over-rated my watercolor skills and my knowledge with floating shapes and water!

Failure means I did something; reached somewhere, right? :)

Anyways, the second drawing is another failed attempt at drawing Syn from memory..! heehee :P
